These Days… My weekly journal

For an explanation on each picture, scroll down to the bottom of this post.

This week we:

: :  are thankful that everyone, including me, is finally over the dreaded flu and just in time to finish the long list of Christmas presents still to make

: :  were thankful for a little bit of color since everything outside is turning brown

: :  peeled enough garlic to keep vampires away for ever then preserved them in olive oil for easy no need to peel garlic

: :  enjoyed some wonderful egg nog and watched lots of Christmas movies (I know its still Advent but we can’t help ourselves)

: :  saw the last time the baby could use the sheepskin to lay in the swing.  He surprised us by almost squirming out and so now we have to keep the tray down which does not leave room for the plushness of his sheepskin.  He still has one in his bed though : )

: :  treated the kids to some nice warm meals including shrimp and grits

: :  finished the new farm addition enclosure…I will post pics of him very soon

: :  received a nice Christmas present via UPS and of course the kids liked the box better

: : held all my babies very close for a few nights now and thanked God for the inspiration to homeschool 15 years ago.  We have been staying close to home more.  Not because we are any safer here  but because this is where we are grounded and were we find our strength

On a side note, I wanted to thank all of you who commented on my Anonymous letter.  So nice to know as momma’s, we have each other’s backs!
