The good ole days

Saturday, early morning as the sun was starting to wake up, I lay in my bed thinking of all the things I would do that day.  This would be the day that the garage (play area and craft room) would finally get done and reoganized with little areas for everything that we need to accomplish in our life.  I would can up the grape jam I made the night before and finish organizing that shelf in the laundry room.  Then while getting out of bed, I felt a hot ripping pain like a hot knife on the lower side of my belly and froze in pain.  It took Poppa to roll me over and get me up.

I pulled a stomach muscle.

Today is the first day that I have been able to leave my bed and can that jam that has been patiently waiting in a huge pot in the fridge.  I am not really good at doing nothing and being in bed for three days is alot of nothing.

I did get to finish the sleepy soaker sack and started making up a wrap style diaper cover but have not yet liked it enough to not rip everything off the needles and start over again.

There is a project that I have been putting off for a rainy day and lets face it, its rainin!  I finally took a pile of DVR disks and pulled out that old laptop that got fried (one of two) that is full of old pictures and started burning pictures onto a disk.  It was so much fun to remember the good ole days, though these aren’t that old, most are from 2006 to 2010.  It reminds me how grateful I am to have a space where I can document our days and years and even share them with others.

I’ll be back tomorrow to share the sleepy soaker for Yarn along day.  Until then, I leave you with some memories.

I can’t believe how big she has gotten.  *Side note*  This was one of the only times she ever got to wear that sweater, it was washed and dried and I cried…alot!
This was taken at the annual Pioneers day which we love so much.  I think he is wearing size 2 or 3 in these pics.

those eyes!  they still get me every morning
I couldn’t resist sharing these next two pics.  Olivia was three months in this picture.  Can you say buttah?
yes, pure cream and butter.  This is 100% momma’s milk too : )
Poppa and I, a lifetime ago
not a recent picture.  this one was taken while I was pregnant with Christopher and I can’t believe it has been almost 6 years though if I look in the mirror, I can believe it.  That is JP standing next to me
I never got in the water that whole weekend, just layed around everywhere
while Poppa swam with the kids
look at those thighs….so delicious
Have you looked at any old pictures lately?
