A new love has come to our family. Matthew Gerard Gaitan was born on September 11 at 5:33. After 24 hours of anticipation and work we have welcomed a new soul into our family. I will be back in the next day or two to share the whole story but for now, we are all together enjoying our new little one, in our home, surrounded by the love that we all share for each other. We couldn’t have asked for everything to turn out any better, a home waterbirth, with Poppa next to me, all of our children, my parents and my midwife and her amazing team who moved in with us for 24 hours and became a little part of our family.
September 11 will now be a day of happiness and celebration of new life for us. Home is definitely where the heart is.
Thank you to everyone for your love and prayers. We have felt so supported at every step and I am so grateful to all of you.

Congratulations on the arrival of your sweet little man! Thanks for sharing your story and pictures. (You might check your spam folder for the missing comments. That happened to me recently where the comments came in to my e-mail, but weren't showing up on my blog and they were in the spam folder which I didn't even know existed until a friend told me! For some reason, my computer and iPad always freeze up on your blog too. I'm not very techy so I'm not sure if that's related, but it does seem odd.)

Congratulations! We have been praying and hoping that the lack of posts this week was because your new little one had arrived. Keep us in your prayers as we are just a couple of weeks behind you ourselves. God bless. Enjoy your new little one and the wedding plans.
Congratulations to all of you. We just welcomed our new addition to our family 3 1/2 weeks ago. We welcomed Veronica Rose our 3rd daughter and our 9th child too. Now we have 3 girls and 6 boys. I don't know if you remember that Alexandra and my daughter Elizabeth started writing too each other, but she has kept up a little on facebook on how your family is doing. Hope everything goes well for all of you.
How wonderful! I wish you all a blessed time ahed. Many thoughts to you all from a blog reader in sweden (who now actually is waiting for the little one in my belly to say hello, in 2013)
Wonderful news! Congratulations one and all.
