Day three of year three- and make sure you check out the last two days of giveaways from yours truly and Path to Freedom plus more giveaways every day this week until Sunday!

I love crochet and designing crochet patterns is something I even do in my sleep.  I mean I wake up with a pattern going through my brain and will have to write down what I am thinking because otherwise in the morning it is gone.  I have over a hundred patterns that I have designed that are waiting in notebooks and computer hard drives for me to pick them up, rework them, take picture, have tested and finalize so that the rest of the world can see them too.


Todays blogiversary guest gets them done, from beginning to end.  In my opinion she is one of the most accomlished crochet designers on Etsy.  You can visit her at her blog or her very busy Etsy store: Holland Designs.  I started designing crochet patterns because I was never able to find what I wanted but believe me if you visit her store you may find a pattern you can’t go on without.

My favorite blogs are: I am not a big blog reader or follower…I just read them occasionally, mostly to keep up with friends.

My favorite color is: Pink in various shades
My first job was: Working at one of my favorite stores…TJ Maxx
My favorite guilty pleasure is: Starbucks coffee…but I don’t really feel very guilty about it.
The best advice I ever received: Was whispered to me by a 90 year old, blind woman: “Trust in God.”
I am inspired by: All the beautiful things I see around me…including my 2 little girls.
If I have an afternoon off I like to: Take a long, lovely nap! (My baby doesn’t yet sleep through the night.)
Think quick, if there was a fire and you could only grab three things (not people) what would they be: Everything is replaceable – other than family. I’d probably be thinking practically and grab my purse, passport & cellphone.
