Days go by so fast, don’t they? Having an abandoned blog looming in the back of your mind is a great reminder of this. Somehow it has been almost a year since I have been here. If you are still here you have my gratitude. I have needed time to be quiet yet have missed the outlet of getting my thoughts and days into written form.
I don’t really think you have missed much or perhaps there is so much that I have not shared that it seems like all the world but somehow I would like to have some of those days present here. Perhaps a flash back post here and there? In the meantime, we are all still here where we always are, at home making up what creates a life. Food, clothing, gardening, reading, knitting, just being together. We are still doing all of those things. So perhaps just to get over my writers block I will share with you some of our pictures and then give myself the grace to start anew.
A few things we have done
Visit home and get some actual family pics done
Mateo turned a whole 4 years old
Almsot everyone turned another year older except JP whose birthday is a mere week from now
Lot of work outside
Hundreds of meals cooked
Got a visit from Alex and Lewis and the babies
Lots of living but so much missing from here so what I would like to do is just have a Flash back Friday every week where I can start to document the important days that I don’t want to leave out. And now that I have taken to top off the bottle (I feel so much better already) I can start fresh and that is always such a good thing in life, isn’t it?

Believe it or not, I was just thinking about you a few days ago! I'm so glad to hear that all is well. Blogging is indeed hard these days. For me, some hard things have happened with friends, some pretty intense days in our family and all of that is not bloggable, but it's all that's on my mind, so the blog is mostly silent. I'm trying to get back to it though because I did enjoy doing it even if I barely had a handful of readers! Looking forward to catching up with your family and maybe get a little inspiration! 😉
