So, are y’all hanging in there. If you have gotten around to any of the projects then holler over this way or even better, send me a pic. On to the fun stuff, we are making wool felted eggs which will stick around alot longer than the plastic eggs will.
Today’s tutorial is not mine. It comes from Frontier Dreams blog by the sweetest momma, Nicole. She is a follower of my blog but it is really I who is a follower of hers. Her blog is such a wonderful place to visit and stay for a while. I have actually not made this one yet but will this weekend and this is the best tutorial I have seen. Check it out here. In my opinion, Frontier Dreams is the best of all the Waldorf blogs I have ever visited. Make sure you visit and tell her Tricia sent you.
sooooo sweet- better luck next year (for me)
Josee, I bought my wool rovings at Joanns, they had about 8 different colors.Jen, Thank you for the great idea of using tulle, I have lots of that!
Thanks for the link for this! I was wondering how to make these after seeing some on a Montessori blog. I modified it after having a little bit of trouble keeping the wool on the egg. After viewing a video on U-Tube for felting rocks, I first wrapped the felt and then wrapped it in tulle (netting). It worked great as you can see by the picture on my blog. Now I am just waiting for them to dry so that I can cut them open and stuff little treats in them! Thanks, again!Jennifer http://www.homespunluv.blogspot.com
I really like the idea of making these, but I need to find some wool first 🙂
