Stash Bash

I’ve never met a crafter without a stash of some kind. This year my goal is to use up all the craft supplies I have spent money on that are taking up mental and physical space in my life.

I can’t really show you Livie’s slippers since she will receive them tonight at her birthday supper but I can show you a little glimpse of them.  I am finishing the monograms and then they will be wrapped.

On a side note,  I had hoped that many more people would join me every week and the fault lies on me for being so inconsistent but I am wondering how much longer I should host this stash bash and would love to hear from any of you on this.  It would help me greatly to make a decision either way.

So what have you been up to? I love to see what you come up with. I have added the Mr Linky to the bottom of this post for you to link up your Stash Bash projects.

Here’s what to do. There are no rules.
Just use what you have and try to not buy new supplies, unless you need it to complete a project that you are making from stuff you already have in your stash.

Up to you of course. I like to see what is going on in your world but am as busy myself. And no personal blog though I could put what I make up on flickr I suppose. But with quilts it takes a long time so perhaps once or twice a year….. Caroline

Please keep posting your stash bash! I don't currently have a blog, but I love seeing how your are using up your stash of crafting materials. Hopefully once I get moved and settled I can start a blog and join in!

oh please! Keep posting!!! I am actually doing a stash bash of my own, I just don't seem to have time to get pictures up or write much about them. Between getting ready for the summer garden, taking care of my worm farm, and writing crochet patterns for my craftsy site, and crocheting for my etsy site, I stay a little bit busy, but love love love to read your blogs, and catch insperation from you!!!

Please don't give up on the stash bash posts. I love checking in each Thursday to see what you have been up to. It's a constant reminder that I don't have to run to Jo Ann's to start a new project. If only I could find the time each week to actually work on one of the numerous projects. I don't know how to link up. I don't have a blog

I promise to start with a post next week, if not tomorrow! I have a birthday tomorrow too — my Dominic's 7th, and I've made him a felt birthday crown. I'm also working on aprons for myself and the girls.

Please do continue. It's so fun to see what others are up to. I'd be joining in (lot's to post about) but I can't upload photos right now.Google is not letting me and I'm not sure what to do. A blogging friend Jenny has had a similar problem before and took a month break, came back and could post again so I hope the same will work for me. Please keep up the stash bash.

I haven't linked to you in some time, but I had a project that uses bra cups from other swimsuits to add to a new suit.http://www.thelostapron.com/2013/01/swim-team-swimsuit-modesty.html
