Holy Friday

Today started at 4 AM for Alexandra, little Eddie and I.  While most members of our family slept, the three of us went to adoration before the Altar of Repose to be with Our Lord in perfect silence (not something I get to do often).  It was such a beautiful way to start today.  This alter was constructed in the hall of our church for two days.

We also went to Holy Friday mass in the later morning and then we walked with Our Lord to Calvary through the Stations of the Cross.  I wish I would have taken pictures for all of you to see.  The stations are set up permanently in the woods behind the seminary and it was the best I had ever seen.

We then came home to the smell of our 17 bean soup in the crock pot and we ended the evening by watching the first few hours of Jesus of Nazareth.

and the winner is…

OK so I changed my mind about using random.org.  It just seemed so random… not very crunchy.  Especially since I have some really cute little paper pickers around here.

So to get to the point…  The winner is SASKIA
