Blogiversary Blogger Guest- Lisa van Klaveren of Holland Designs and Giveaway

I love crochet and designing crochet patterns is something I even do in my sleep. I mean I wake up with a pattern going through my brain and will have to write down what I am thinking because otherwise in the morning it is gone. I have over a hundred patterns that I have designed that are waiting in notebooks and computer hard drives for me to pick them up, rework them, take picture, have tested and finalize so that the rest of the world can see them too.

Todays blogiversary guest gets them done, from beginning to end. In my opinion she is one of the most accomlished crochet designers on Etsy. I started designing crochet patterns because I was never able to find what I wanted but believe me if you visit her store you may find a pattern you can’t go on without.

If I have an afternoon off I like to: Take a long, lovely nap! (My baby doesn’t yet sleep through the night.)
Think quick, if there was a fire and you could only grab three things (not people) what would they be: Everything is replaceable – other than family. I’d probably be thinking practically and grab my purse, passport & cellphone.

Mollies- Crochet baby shoes

So I finished another crochet project from the pile (which is so high right now that I may never see the bottom of it). I have been working on these booties for a while, taking apart, rewriting the pattern, changing this and that and I think I am happy with it enough to share. The pattern will be ready to test in a week or two, yeah you’ve heard that one before! No, really I am working on it all the time and slowly working to get all my patterns out there but 4 years of pattern writing is alot to do in my spare time ; )

I would LOVE to hear comments. Like it, love it, hate it, please let me know…that is how I can decided wether devoting time to this pattern would be worth it.
